In the Bible, God repeatedly promises to not only re-establish the nation of Israel, but to turn it into a blossoming oasis of abundant crops.
To set the stage for this miracle, God turned Israel into a barren wasteland in the years prior to its re-establishment in 1948. In his 1869 book, “Innocents Abroad,” Mark Twain journaled his visit to Israel, and noted the condition of the land:
“The Land of Israel is a wasteland and devoid of delight. The Land of Israel is no longer to be considered part of the actual world. We did not see a soul during the entire journey [that includes Palestinians, by the way], everywhere we went there was no tree or shrub.”
So, did God keep his promise and turn this barren wasteland into a blossoming oasis? Of course! The Bible is always proven true.
They [the Jewish people] will possess it forever and dwell there from generation to generation. The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. ~ Isaiah 34:17-35:1
I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. ~ Ezekiel 36:29
In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel. ~ Isaiah 4:2

Israel’s avocado controls Europe: The pear-shaped green fruit’s sales have totaled one-third of all the fruit sold in the continent, according to a recent Wall Street Journal article dedicated to Agrexco. The Israeli company was defined by the leading American newspaper as the biggest Israeli exporter of fresh agricultural produce of high quality.
I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops… ~ Ezekiel 34:29-30

In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit. ~ Isaiah 27:6
I will bring back my exiled people Israel ; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. ~ Amos 9:14
When God reiterates a prophecy so many times, he wants us to pay attention! We are living in a time unprecedented in history. More prophecy is being fulfilled in our time (1948 until now, and continuing) than in any other time, except possibly when Jesus walked the earth. The nation of Israel is back. It is blossoming. And the nations are aligning against her exactly as the Bible says they would. The Bible is always proven true.
