Egypt’s “Arab Spring” continues fulfilling Bible prophecy, as the Egyptian military labels Egypt’s leaders “fools,” exactly as God did in Isaiah 19
When I read the stories about Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi being overthrown by the Egyptian military, I was stunned. Not because the military had overthrown him, but because of the word the military used to describe him and his henchmen. I have written in detail on this website about how the events of Egypt’s “Arab Spring” are foretold in Isaiah 19: Egypt’s “Arab Spring” Foretold in Bible Prophecy.
Over the past two years, multiple prophecies in the first many verses of Isaiah 19 have been fulfilled before our eyes on the evening news. But Isaiah 19 goes on. There is more. In Isaiah 19, verses 11 & 13, the Bible specifically refers to the new leaders of Egypt as “fools.”
The officials of Zoan [also known as “Tanis,” and is the former capital of Egypt] are nothing but fools; the wise counselors of Pharaoh [Egyptian President] give senseless advice. ~ Isaiah 19:11
How can you say to Pharaoh [Egyptian President], “I am one of the wise men, a disciple of the ancient kings”? Where are your wise men now? Let them show you and make known what the LORD Almighty has planned against Egypt. The officials of Zoan have become fools, the leaders of Memphis [another former capital of Egypt] are deceived; the cornerstones of her peoples have led Egypt astray. ~ Isaiah 19:13
Now, let’s look at news coming out of Egypt the past few days. Does it continue to match the prophecies of Isaiah 19? It absolutely does! In press releases and interviews, the Egyptian military could have used any word they wanted to describe Morsi and his henchmen– e.g., tyrants, dictators, etc.
But of all the words they could have used, which word did they choose?

“Mursi’s defiance prompted a swift response from the military, which stated it was ready to sacrifice itself in the fight against “fools.”
Egypt’s high command said on Wednesday the army was ready to die to defend Egypt’s people against terrorists and fools, in a response to Islamist President Mohamed Mursi that was headlined “The Final Hours”.

Keep your eye on Egypt. Isaiah 19 is not done yet.
The Bible is always proven true.
